This is solid black waterglass with an iridescent coating on the top side. Waterglass has a very slight wave on one side that resembles a calm wave on the surface of the ocean. The iridescent coating reflects the base color along with a rainbow of other colors that include, green, teal, blue, purple and gold. The colors reflected depend on the angle of the light. Spectrum classifies this glass as “transparent” but it works nicely for mosaic projects as well as projects where light transmission is intended. Please note, the smaller the tile the less detectable the wave.
